Masungi Georeserve | It’s Morphin’ Time

Paano nga ba magtravel kasama ang iyong Crush?

1. Kailangan mong maging matatag.

3. Cherish every minutes dahil minsan lang mangyari ‘to!

Habang nasa Biyahe:

Jonat: Minay, sino yung kasama mo sa Motor?

Minay: BF ko.

Jonat: Talaga. Kelan mo naman nakilala?

Minay: Kanina lang. haha First time ko maghabal habal sa Manila at mag ka BF instantly. haha

Charles: San tayo kakain?

Jonat: Sa Tanay.

….After Several Minutes….

Paasa ih!

Jonat: Mina, alam ko talaga may Jabi dito. Sorry na!

Claris: Hala! Pinaasa mo si mina. Mahirap pag nagutom yan. haha

You can expect a Superb Landscape and Comforting Atmosphere at the receiving and briefing place for the visitors (a.k.a Silungan).

“The Masungi Georeserve is a conservation area and a rustic rock garden tucked in the rainforests of Rizal. Masungi’s name is derived from the word “masungki” which translates to “spiked” – an apt description for the sprawling limestone landscape found within.” – www.masungigeoreserve.com

Masungi Park Rangers explained the Do’s and Don’t during the Climb:

  1. Chichirya, Jelly Ace and Small Cookies are not allowed to bring inside the Masungi Sanctuary. This is to avoid littering of  the visitors.
  2. Wear shoes or sandals during the Hike.
  3. No Vandalism to any rock formations.
  4. Always put your helmet because there will be a time that you will enter a cave and tiny rock holes in order to proceed to the next level of adventures.
  5. Take Care of your gadgets because there’s no guarantee that it can be retrieved when it falls below the grounds.
  6. No Horse playing.
  7. Relax and enjoy the Nature.

The Cast of Masungi Power Rangers:

Yellow Ranger – Mina

Blue Ranger – Jonathan

Black Ranger -Ivan

Orange Ranger – Claris

Violet Ranger Charles

Here’s our Power Ranger Pose at the Sapot of Masungi Sanctuary.

Jonat: Minay, Papicture tayo. Yung may Heart.

Minay: Oh sige. Tara!

…after several minutes…

Tales of a Friendzone! haha Balang araw magkakaheart din yan! Feeling Positive with a chance of Meatballs.

Lesson: Always be alert to counter attack all Snakey Moves of your friends. haha

“What is Nido Soup? It is a soup made of Bird’s nest ingredients come from selected species of cave swiftlets, one of which is found in the Philippines.

These birds inhabit dark caves, and the males construct the nests on the caves walls using its own saliva to create a small, shallow basin attached to the rocks.

The nest have high levels of calcium, iron, potassium and magnesium. Some of its benefits are improving the voice, easing digestion, alleviating asthma, raising libido and strengthening the immune system.” (from wikipedia)

But according to him, they already stop harvesting those nests to preserve its wildlife.

Claris: Jonats, kamukha mo?

Jonat: Alin?

Claris: Itong unggoy.

Mina: haha Long tail na.. Macaque pa? haha

Jonat: Grabe ka minay, naisip mo pa yun haha!

You will surely find solace at Patak Tree House.

Let’s do this!

Kuya Bernz gave us 20 minutes to meditate on this long and big hammock.

Humiga lang kami habang nakatingin sa bughaw na kulay ng Langit kasabay ang ihip ng maaliwalas na simoy ng hangin –  This is Life!

“Aue, aue
We are explorers reading every sign
We tell the stories of our elders in a never-ending chain
Aue, aue! We know the way” – moana

We really enjoyed the cold atmosphere inside the cave.

Walang papantay sayo. Maging sino man sila! Walang papantay sayo ooh… Si Townie na lang. Walang papantay sayo.”

A Mother’s Love is the bridge to all Happiness. Indeed! You will surely felt it once you reach Nanay’s Peak.

We rested here for a while and just enjoyed the summer Breeze of Masungi.

Masungi Power Rangers: Time Spacewarp Ngayon din!

Sometimes, reaching out and taking someone’s hand is the beginning of a journey. And these Invisible threads are the strongest ties.

We went down from the summit of Nanay’s Peak with a new kind of Love.

Before we reached Liwasan, We had to climb down a Rope that’s look like a Lizard.

Liwasan is a valley like area with a reflection pond which is designed for relaxation prior to the final ascent back to the visitors sheds. It is also surrounded by different kind of Duyan where you can rest.”

Thank you Minay for arranging this Trip.  Hope we can meet your friends again for another Travel Stories.

Thank you din kay Charles for bringing his car.

Thank you din kay Mariz for filling up the void inside Ivan’s Heart.
