Once Upon a Time in Cebu | Oslob Whale Shark & Canyoneering to Kawasan Falls

Istambay Istambay sa may Cebu

Sa Oslob una tayo nagtungo

Pagkadating sa dalampasigan

Umulan ng magagandang….

Emman: Butanding!

Oslob Whale Shark Viewing

Whale Shark is a slow moving filter feeding shark the largest known extant fish species. It inhabits all tropical and warm temperature seas. It is living in the open sea but not in the greater depths of the ocean. and they feed almost exclusively on plankton and therefore are completely harmless to humans (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Whale_shark).

oslob2

A Cloudy Sky greeted us with a cozy atmosphere.

Lakas lang maka Legend of the Blue Sea ang Morning Theme.

oslob7

Malaking Butanding lumalangoy

Ngunit ang ‘sang matinding Problema

Hindi kami nakakuha ng

Charles: Pang Profile Picture!

Here’s some of the photos of my Friends during Whale Sharks Viewing:

Medyo napaisip ako doon dahil lahat kami palutang.

Di ba sobrang nakaka-amaze ang kanilang underwater Photography with the Butanding.

I hope someday I would have the chance to capture their Dance with me under the Sea.

oslob12

5 Tips of the Day with the Butanding:

  1. Better to remove your Life Vest while trying to make a Buwis Buhay Photo shoot under water with the Butanding.
  2. Have Plans who will be the first 3 that will jump in the Ocean to have a Butanding Profile Picture. It will make easier to set the camera to its best viewing angle.
  3. Don’t swim toward the Butanding. It will naturally go to your place.
  4. Always have a 6 meter radius with the whale shark. And don’t panic when it moves towards you.
  5. Don’t feed the Butanding.

oslob3

Julius said goodbye to his fellow Butanding friends.

By Heart and Soul, He felt one with them.

Badian Canyoneering to Kawasan Falls

oslob13

Istambay Istambay sa may Badian

Excited na ang lahat na makita

Kawasan Falls at ang Canyoneering

May halong takot at saya ang

Ate Bayan: Damdamin!

canyoneering1

canyoneering2

Sobrang lupit ng view during our Motorcycle Diaries Experience.

kawasan4

Welcome to Kawasan Canyoneering of Badian!

Let’s do this!

16298855_10208003687918978_6915461811915194650_n

The first challenge going to Matutinao River was to trek across the High Lands.

kawasan6

kawasan7

The Sun gazed upon us with scorching smile.

We re-hydrated ourselves to a nearby Sari-sari store. The only mishap we had was not able to bring extra money to buy refreshments. We did not expect the long distance hiking trails before reaching the Canyoneering Course.

kawasan8

Nawa’y magustuhan ninyo ang kanyang mga Angulo during our trip.

Sit back and Relax!

Pagkat walang sawa kitang aarugain
Sa paraisong pinaglalagyan natin.” – Siakol

The Best Tour Guide in Kawasan Canyoning

kawasan13

Every time na naka conquer kami ng Waterfalls Cliff Jumping, our smiles speak for Joy and Excitement.

kawasan14

kawasan11

kawasan15

This part was the most unforgettable experience I had because it was the first time that I slide through a Waterfall.

Sobrang sarap ng feeling! May halong kaba at saya.

Ahh Tapang Ahh Tao! ahh Dami Ahh Tubig nainom! haha True Story!

kawasan17

Then we waved our hands to Kuya Ferdie while shouting “Best Trip Ever! Beshi Meshi!”

kawasan16

kawasan21

The Badian Canyooneering Adventures could take you to another dimension of Nature Tripping.

It offered a lot of Buwis Buhay Pose, Elegant Rock Formations and Bluer than Blue Flowing waters.

Jonat: What you Country? (ahaha mautal utal, na first love kay cortney!)

Cortney: Sorry, I can’t understand.

Emman: What Country are you from?

Cortney: From USA!

Emman: What’s your name?

Cortney: I’m Cortney.

Jonathan: Can you take you a photo of us with you? (Nautal na naman sa ganda niya. haha)

Cortney: Sorry, what did you just say? Do you want me to take a photo of your group?

Charles: No. Can you join us with a grouffie!

Cortney: Sure. No Problem. Nice to meet you Guys!

Emman: Bye Cortney! I’m emman. Nice to meet you too. (Sabay kiss kay Cortney!)

Jonat: Langya ka emman ah, naka isa ka dun.. hahahaha

kawasan18

There were times that we had to enter a small opening of a rock formations, take a selfie with a huge Log and make a Power Ranger Pose. Awe-Inspiring!

kawasan19

We never really put attention to time while we were chasing the rapids and jumping thru the waterfalls.

We just enjoyed every river crossing obstacles we had.

kawasan22

At the Half Course of Canyoneering, You could find a Barbecue Karenderia.

Kaya wala kaming agam-agam na umorder ng Unlimited Barbecue of Isaw-isaw, Hotdogs and Chorizo (Tocino Like Meat).

Just a Reminder:

kawasan25

Inumpisahan namin ito habang kumakanta ng…

Istambay Istambay sa may Ilog

Humiga kami ng parang Bilog

At sa aming muling paglusong

Nanginig kami ng hanggang…

Onats: Buto

Tunay nga na “Blue is the Color of Fun!”

kawasan28

This is our Final Jump in Kawasan Canyoning.

(Scary!)

We prayed to God na bigyan Niya kami ng Courage para malagpasan ito.

1! 2! 3! We jumped with nakakabading na irit. haha!

Definitely one of the best adrenaline pumping activities that I had in my Life.

We thanked God to every moment of our safe trip.

kawasan29

kawasan30

kawasan31

“Water is the most perfect traveller because when it travels it becomes the path itself!” – Ildan

kawasan32

Blessed this food through Christ our Lord. Amen.”

kawasan33

Kawasan Falls comfort us with Her Dazzling Scenery.

kawasan34

The free massage under the waterfalls was superb. It punched us with Inner Peace and Stress-free attitude in every part of our body, mind and soul.

“There is a hidden message in every waterfall. It says, if you are flexible, falling will not hurt you!” – Ildan

kawasan35

Michael: Ang Lamig!

Julius: Guurrrllllll! Di niyo na carry? The Cold never bothered me Anyway! (Elsa Mode)
